Description
This Gordet wood oboe with left-hand F is a wonderful professional horn in excellent condition. It has just come back from the shop where it was completely overhauled, most of the pads were replaced and the keys were adjusted so it plays great. There are no cracks or repairs to the wood or tenons of this oboe. There is a small chip near the bottom of the bell. Please see the pictures for more details. The serial number on this oboe is “1025B”. The engraving on the bell and on the top of both body joints reads “Gordet Paris N.Y.”. This is a professional level oboe with all of the extra trill keys, the split D key, the F resonance key, and the left-hand F key. Please see the photos for exact key work. It comes a new ProTec case. No accessories are included. This oboe has an open warm sound and the intonation is good throughout the horn. It plays easily up and down the register.
