Is the merchandise listed on Musical Instrument City.com all you have for sale?
No, due to our large inventory and small staff we have hundreds of instruments and parts which are not listed on the site. If you would like to request an instrument please [Contact Us].

I’m looking for a specific model/manufacturer/instrument which is not listed, how do I request an instrument?
Please visit our [Contact Us] page (located at the bottom of the screen) or send an e-mail to info@musicalinstrumentcity.com with the subject line “Request an Instrument”.

Can I “Request” a part or specific mouthpiece?
Yes, if you would like to request a part or specific mouthpiece please [Contact Us] using the subject line “Request a Part”. You must be very specific as to make, model and year in order for us to attempt to find your request.

You only have one instrument listed in a category, is that all you have?
No, due to our large inventory and small staff we have hundreds of instruments and parts which are not yet listed on the site. If you would like to request an instrument please [Contact Us].

Does Musical Instrument City.com buy instruments as well as sell them?
Generally no, we have our own suppliers, however if you have a large collection of instruments and/or are interested in trading your vintage or pro-line instrument for one we have listed we are always interested. Please feel free to [Contact Us].

Does Musical Instrument City.com do appraisals?
We do not do individual appraisals. We do offer appraisal services for collections or banks. Please [Contact Us] for terms and fees.

Does Musical Instrument City.com accept consignments?
No, we do not accept consignments.

Does Musical Instrument City.com have a store I can visit?
We do not have a traditional storefront and therefore are not open to the general public. However, for individuals who are interested in purchasing an instrument over $3,000.00 USD we offer private appointments. International Buyers and International Wholesalers are also invited to make a private appointment. Please see our [Contact Us] page for more details.

Can Musical Instrument City.com repair my instrument?
No, we do not offer repair services. If your instrument requires repairs we suggest you visit your local music store or musical repair shop.

How do I cancel my order?
If you have not checked out yet all you need to do is simply hit the delete button in your shopping cart and the order will not process. If you have already entered your payment information and submitted your order please send us an email as soon as possible and we will try to cancel the order before it ships but we can not guarantee that it will not have already been shipped out by the time we get to your email. If your payment method was completed through PayPal their 3% PayPal Fee is non-refundable.

Shipping FAQ

Do you ship to my country?
We ship all over the world! Please contact us for a specific shipping quote to your country. Depending on the country your order may ship with UPS, US Mail, FexEx or specific freight companies.

My instrument/item was damaged in shipping, what do I do now?
All of our merchandise is fully insured so if your item was damaged en-route, please visit our [Shipping/Returns] page immediately. There is a very specific procedure you must follow in order for us to process the return of an item damaged en-route.

I’ve ordered an instrument/item off your site, how long before it arrives?
All merchandise is shipped within 3-5 business days after you place an order. You will get e-mail confirmation when your item has shipped along with a tracking number.

How carefully do you pack my item?
We pack all our instruments and items very carefully. Our company has over 30 years of experience packing and shipping musical instruments, we have a tried and true method for shipping your instrument carefully. All instruments are individually styro packed on the inside of the case if there is room and we use environmentally friendly shredded cardboard and new or repurposed boxes for all shipments.
