Description

This vintage Martin Handcraft Committee II tenor saxophone is in mint condition with 99%+ of our vintage custom re-lacquer. With our custom vintage lacquer the silver keys have a really cool smokey look as they are darker than your normal silver keys. The bottom right hand palm key is a replacement lacquered key and.  Please see pictures for details.  It has the original adjustable thumb hook and heart shaped left hand thumb rest. The serial number is “139014” making this a 1940 vintage saxophone.  The engraving on the bell reads “Martin Handcraft Elkhart-Ind-U-S-A-” with a crown and lion on the bell. "Martin Comm. II" is engraved above the serial number with "Low Pitch" below the serial number.  The bell to body brace is engraved with ""Martin" Handcraft Elkhart Ind.".  The neck is in great condition and shows a repair to the octave key. Please see the photos for more details. It has a new MTS custom hard-shell memory foam case with a handle on the side and the end. no mouthpiece is included.
