King 2B Liberty Valve Trombone Serial #422715

What else can we say but WOW! This vintage 2B Liberty is a fantastic valve trombone in incredible shape. It just came back from an overhaul and it has our beautiful custom lacquer that we use specifically for our King instruments, to give the horn a more authentic vintage King feel. We can tell you too, that it plays just as beautifully as it sounds! This horn has a super dark, rich, full sound from top to bottom.  There are two small patches on the curved part of the third valve tuning slide (see pics). The bore is a .481"/.491" dual bore and it has a 7 ¼” bell. The engraving on the bell reads ““2-B” King Liberty Made by The H.N. White Co. Cleveland Ohio and “The HN White Co King Cleveland, Ohio” (on the counterweight)” and is super crisp! Based on the serial number the H.N White Co website dates this horn between 1965-1970’s vintage. If you are looking for a valve trombone, you are sure to love this one!
