This C.G. Conn New Wonder II “Chu Berry” silver alto saxophone is in mint condition with 98%+ of the silver finish remaining. This saxophone has a brushed silver finish with polished engraving, accents and keys. Please see the photos for more details. It has just come back from the shop where it was cleaned, adjusted, and re-padded. There are no dents or dings in the horn and no evidence of any major repairs. The serial number is “M164767” making this a vintage 1925 instrument. On the back of the body is engraved “PATD. Dec. 8. 1914. 1119954 A M164767 L”. The engraved letter “L” below the serial number denotes that the horn is in low pitch. Until the mid-1940’s, Conn made both high, and low-pitched horns. A few other features of this horn include Conn’s signature nail file G# key, split bell keys, wire key guards, mother-of-pearl rollers and rolled tone holes. The engraving on the bell is incredibly ornate with swirling leavings and flowers and reads “Made by C.G. Conn Ltd. Elkhart-Ind. U.S.A.” This horn comes with the original neck micro tuner neck and original neck plug. The neck is in great shape with no evidence of a pull down. It comes in the original Conn case still in good condition. A mouthpiece is not included.

The Mouthpiece: No mouthpiece, ligature, or accessories are included. A good used metal neck plug is included.
The Case: Original Conn case in good used condition (General wear with some edge wear and visible surface scratches).
