Description
This Yamaha YFH6310Z 3 valve flugelhorn is in beautiful condition with 90-95% of its lacquered finish remaining! There are some very minor nearly invisible dings on the back bell bow and evidence of dent removal that is easier felt than seen. There are a couple of visible re-solder points at some of the braces. There is some light lacquer burning at the re-solder points. Please see pictures for details. The serial number is “436731”. The engraving on the bell reads "Yamaha Established in 1887". Engraved on the bottom of the second valve casing opposite of the serial number is "YFH6310Z". "Made in Japan" is engraved on the bottom of the third valve casing. It comes in the original Yamaha case which is in good used condition. A good used Yamaha Bobby Shew mouthpiece is included. This flugelhorn plays beautifully as you would expect from a Yamaha. It is nice and free blowing from top to bottom. The valves have really great action and overall is a super fun horn to play! It has a wonderful rich warm round sound.
