This gold-plated King Saxello soprano saxophone is in fantastic condition. There is some light evidence of dent removal in the bell that is more felt than seen. There are some very light player wear touch spots on a couple of the keys.  The top thumb rest pearl has been worn down over the years. The neck appears to have had pull down and dent removal done.  The octave key has been repaired at the saddle.  There is a very light amount of speckle wear on the horn in a few spots.  It has just come back from our repair technician where the body was cleaned, the pads were replaced as needed and it was adjusted. Several of the corks were replaced as well.  The serial number on the horn is "71150" making this a vintage 1924 horn. Above the serial number are the words "PAT. PEND'G". The engraving on the bell reads "King Saxello Made by The H.N. White Co. CLEV,D O." surrounded by scrolling leaves. In the pictures you may notice that the horn sometimes appears more silver, the reason behind this is due to the vintage King Saxello gold plating. The instrument gives off a beautiful gold sheen in the light as opposed to looking solid gold and makes the horn look gorgeous and very classy. It comes in the original case which is in older used condition.  No mouthpiece is included. This saxophone is a great player with a vintage tonal quality that is warmer, bigger and richer than modern horns.The saxello's are becoming more rare and harder to find. Saxello's have this warm, unique sound that projects forward because of the tipped bell and is an excellent instrument for solo work.
