Benge Custom Built Silver Trumpet 1951 Serial #2931

Description

This Benge Custom Built silver trumpet is in excellent condition with 99%+ of its silver finish remaining and very light player wear. This trumpet is dead mint in pristine condition after its overhaul! The serial number is 2931 making it a 1951 vintage horn. The engraving is nice and clean on the bell and it reads “Renso-Tempered Bell Custom Built by E. Benge Chicago Illinois”. "Benge" is engraved on the brace in the third valve tuning slide and at the bottom of the second valve casing below the serial number. "ML" is engraved on the second valve casing opposite of the serial number. This horn comes in a very good used condition replacement case. No mouthpiece is included. This trumpet plays exceptionally well! It has an absolutely gorgeous centered tone. The horn plays beautifully throughout all of its registers with a beautiful rich low register and a fantastic brilliance in the upper register. There is a lot of flexibility in this horn and it plays with fantastic response.
