Description
This Yamaha YSL-354 valve trombone is in excellent condition with 90%+ of its lacquered finish remaining. There is light lacquer scratching on the inside of the bell. There are two or three extremely small dents just in from the bell edge closest to the valve section. You can hardly see them but you can feel them. The second valve tuning slide pull knob has been pushed in slightly and the top of the first valve tuning slide has a very tiny couple of dents. The rubber stopper is missing from the slide tip crook. Please see pictures for details. The serial number on the trombone is “437386”. Engraved on the bell is “Yamaha Established in 1887” with “YSL354” engraved above the serial number. “Yamaha made in Japan” is engraved on the bottom of the second valve casing with “Yamaha” on the counterweight. This trombone comes in a good used condition Yamaha case and no mouthpiece included. This valve trombone plays very well up and down its register! The valves are super speedy and quiet. It is a free blowing horn with an even sound from top to bottom.
