This Yamaha YSH301 BBb fiberglass sousaphone is in mint condition! We believe the only time this instrument has been played is when we test played it. It is in beautiful condition with virtually no wear the instrument at all. There are two spots on the front and back of the body where the paint finish has cracked. This is superficial and just the finish is cracked which is why we ended up with it. Because of the imperfections on the finish it could not be sold at the retail location. Please see pictures. It is in fantastic working condition! The serial number is “572965”. The engraving on the bell reads “Yamaha” and “Yamaha YSH 301 Made in Japan” on the second valve casing. It comes in a very good used case. No mouthpiece is included. A used gooseneck and bit are included.

Dents: Almost no dents or dings.

Valve Condition: All the valves are in good working condition and all of the tuning slides are loose.
Lead Pipe Condition: Very light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings).
Body Condition: Excellent.
Fiberglass Condition: No broken or patched fiberglass.
Outside Body Bow Condition: No dent in the outside bow.
The Bell: No dents or evidence of bell edge damage.
The Bottom Bow: No dent in the bottom bow guard.
Overall Height from bow to top of the bell approximately: 55 inches.
Bell Diameter approximately: 26 inches.
The Mouthpiece: A used gooseneck and bit are included. No mouthpiece is included.
The Case: A very good used case is included.
