Description
This Yamaha YFH-631 tri tone 3 valve flugelhorn is in beautiful condition! It has 99%+ on its silver, lacquered and copper finish. There are some very light imperfections to the finish. This is so light we cannot justify calling them scratches however you do see them when you are looking at the horn in just the right light. There are two small dings to note; one at the bottom of the body as you approach the water key and one in the body directly between the water key and the edge of the bottom of the bell. There is one small ding at the bottom of the back bell bow and one in the bell throat right next to the first valve. There is the tiniest bit of oxidation on the bottom of the third valve tuning slide. Please see pictures for details. The serial number on this flugelhorn is “008462A”. The engraving on the lead pipe reads “Yamaha Japan” and the engraving on the second valve casing opposite of the serial number is “Yamaha YFH-631”. There is no mouthpiece included. It comes in a good used condition case. This horn plays fantastically! It has a beautiful tone and plays very well in tune. The copper bell gives it a nice bit of warmth to the tone. The valves are great. This is a great professional line instrument and is a ton of fun to play.
