Description
This Yamaha YBS-61 baritone saxophone is in very good condition! This is the pro model for Yamaha copied after the Selmer Mark VI. It has 80-85% of its original lacquered finish remaining. The majority of the lacquer wear is on the leg side of the horn. There is evidence of bell lip pull down removal and there are some very minor dings in the bell. The bell to body brace has visible re-soldering on both sides as does the brace inside the U tube. There is a medium sized dent in the U tube just up from the water key. Please see pictures for details. The serial number is “7588”. The engraving above the serial number reads “Yamaha YBS-61”. The engraving on the bell has a floral engraving up the bell and around the Purple Logo. The engraving on the bell reads “Yamaha Japan”. It comes with the original neck in good condition. There is evidence of pull down removal and dent removal in the neck. There is still very slight evidence of pull down remaining in the neck. Please see pictures for details. It comes in a replacement Yamaha 52 case in good used condition. No mouthpiece is included. This is a great playing low A baritone saxophone! It just came back from the shop where it was regulated so it really packs a punch.

The Mouthpiece: No mouthpiece, ligature, or accessories are included.
The Stand: If pictured, not included.
The Case: Good used condition (General wear with some edge wear and visible surface scratches). There is some paint on the side of the case where a name has been painted over.
Engraving: Yamaha Japan (with Purple Logo on the bell) Yamaha YBS-61 (above the serial number) (Tuning Fork Logo on the bell to body brace).
