Description

This Yamaha Advantage YTS-200AD tenor saxophone is in excellent condition with 95%+ of the original lacquer finish. There is some light lacquer scratching on the leg side of the horn.  The key guard on the back of the bottom bow is bowed in slightly.  There is very minor evidence of bell lip pull down removal. Please see the photos for more details. The serial number is “247895” The engraving on the bell reads “Yamaha Advantage Established in 1887” with the tuning fork logo. Above the serial number is engraved “Yamaha YTS-200AD” and below the serial number reads “Assembled in USA”. The Yamaha tuning fork logo is on the bell to body brace as well as the octave key. This tenor saxophone comes with the original neck that is in very good condition and has no evidence of pulldown. There are a couple of very minor dings that are from the octave key at the back of the neck. There is one very minor ding around the middle of the neck that is easier to feel than to see. It comes in its original case in good used condition. It comes with a new Yamaha mouthpiece, Rovner ligature, one new reed, and a good used neck strap. The horn plays beautifully up and down the register as you would expect from a Yamaha horn.

The Key Plating: Approximately 95%+ of the original key plating remains with very light player wear touch spots.

The Bell: No dents and very minor bell edge damage.
The Bow: Almost no dents in the bottom bow or bow guard.
Pad Condition: The pads are in very good used condition.
Resonator Type: Plastic resonators.
The Neck: The neck has approximately 95%+ of the finish remaining with very light general wear (minor if any surface imperfections).
The Mouthpiece: A new Yamaha 5C student mouthpiece, a Rovner H.R. tenor sax X-2R ligature, one new reed and a good used neck strap are included.
The Case: Good used condition (General wear with some edge wear and visible surface scratches).
