Description
This Yamaha 3 valve YEP201 euphonium is in excellent condition with 95% or more of the original lacquer and very light player wear across the horn.  It has just come from the shop where it was cleaned and adjusted so it plays beautifully. All the valves are smooth and other than two small dents in the bow this euphonium is in fantastic condition. The serial number “320339” can be found on the back of the valve casing. The bell reads “Yamaha Established in 1887”.  The front of the valve casing reads “Yamaha YEP201 Made in Japan”. This horn comes in the original case that is in good used condition. There is one small section of foam missing from the inside of the case and the outside of the case has been painted. No mouthpiece is included. This Yamaha euphonium has a clear warm sound and good intonation. Dents: Almost no dents or dings.
Playing Condition: This instrument is currently in excellent playing condition.
The Finish: It has approximately 95%+ of the original lacquered finish.
Player Wear: Very light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings.
Valve Condition: All the valves are in good working condition and all of the tuning slides are loose.
Lead Pipe Condition: Very light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings).
Outside Body Bow Condition: Has a very light dent in the outside bow with a small ding.
The Bell: Almost no dents or evidence of bell edge dents.
Bell Dent Removal/Repair: No evidence.
The Bottom Bow: Has a light dent in the bow guard with a small ding.
The Mouthpiece: No mouthpiece is included, or other accessories but it will need a standard shank mouthpiece.
Metal Condition: No broken or patched metal.
The Case: Good used condition (General wear with some edge wear and visible surface scratches) there is a small section of foam missing from the inside of the case and the outside has been painted.
Engraving: Yamaha Established in 1887 (on the bell) Yamaha YEP201 Made in Japan (on the front valve casing).
