Description
This Martin “The Martin” Committee Trumpet is in mint condition. It has just come back from the shop where it was completely overhauled and re-lacquered with our custom lacquer. The serial number makes this a 1947 vintage horn. The engraving on the bell is sharp and clear it reads “The Martin” in script and then below reads “-Committee-Model- Elkhart-Ind. -U-S-A-“. The second valve finger button looks like it is a slightly smaller button – we are not sure if this is original or not. It could be that it was designed that way however we do not know. It comes in a good used replacement Jupiter case. No mouthpiece is included with this horn. This is a great playing vintage trumpet! It has a beautiful tone and a nice open sound. The trumpet plays evenly up and down the register and is a really fun horn to play.
