Description
This Buescher The Buescher True-Tone straight soprano saxophone is in excellent condition. About 90% of the lacquer is missing giving the horn a raw brass finish. It has just come back the shop where the body was cleaned, the keys were hand polished, the horn was completely re-padded, and the corks were replaced as needed. The entire instrument was adjusted. The serial number on the horn is “133079” making this a 1923 vintage saxophone. Engraved next to the serial number is “Low Pitch License PAT. DEC. 8. 1914” with “True-Tone Trademark Registered” surrounded by a triangle, bell, and tuning fork. The engraving on the bell is extremely clear with a scroll that reads “The Buescher Elkhart IND.” with entwining leaves and vines around it. This soprano saxophone comes in a replacement case in good used condition. No mouthpiece is included. This saxophone is in fantastic playing condition with a deep, warm sound. It plays well up and down its registers with nice overtones.
