A great playing vintage saxophone with a raw brass finish!

1 in stock

This “The Buescher” True-Tone Straight Soprano Saxophone Serial #133079 is in excellent playing condition. About 90% of the lacquer is missing giving the horn a raw brass finish. It has just come back the shop where the body was cleaned, the keys were hand polished, the horn was completely re-padded and the corks were replaced as needed. The entire instrument was adjusted and it is currently in excellent playing condition with a great warm sound. The engraving on the bell of this saxophone is extremely clear with a scroll that reads “The Buescher Elkhart IND.” with entwining leaves and vines around it. The serial number can be found on the back of the horn and reads #188079 with the words “Low Pitch License pat. Dec 8 1919”. The words “True Tone Trademark Registered” are easily distinguishable surrounded by a triangle, a bell, and a tuning fork. This soprano saxophone comes in a replacement case in good condition. It does not come with a mouthpiece. Overall, this horn is still in fantastic condition with a deep warm sound that plays well up and down the register with some nice overtones.
