Description
This Selmer Depose Series 9 Eb soprano wood clarinet is in excellent condition. It has just come back from the shop where it was completely gone over. All of the corks and pads are in very good condition and the key plating is 95% original with little if any player wear. The wood is in beautiful condition without any cracks, repairs, or major scratches. Engraved on the bell is “Henri Selmer Pairs” (in laurel leaves) “Sole Agents U.S. & Can Selmer New-York Elkhart” on the front of the bell. On the back of the bell engraved is “Made in France”. Engraved on the barrel is “Henri Selmer Paris” in laurel leaves. Engraved at the bottom of the body is “Series 9” and at the top of the body is “Depose” followed by “Henri Selmer Paris” in laurel leaves and “France”. The serial number is “S7508” making this a vintage 1962 horn. No mouthpiece is included. It comes in the original Selmer case in good used condition. This clarinet is an excellent player with tremendous overtones and a super warm rounded sound.
