1963 Beautifully Playing Vintage Original Lacquer Trumpet Made in France with Two Water Keys

Description

This Selmer De Ville 1963 Trumpet is in very good used condition. It has around 80-85% of the original lacquer. There is some light speckle wear across the horn and few small spots where the lacquer has been mostly rubbed off such as on the tuning slide for the second valve. This trumpet has had a bell dent removed and the bell lip is still not quite true – more felt than seen. Please see the photos for more details. The serial number is “28187” making it a vintage 1963 trumpet. The engraving on the bell is still crisp and reads “DeVille Henri Selmer Paris Made in France”. Engraved on the water keys is the Selmer “S”. You will notice this particular trumpet also has two spit keys as opposed to one. The horn comes in a replacement case which is still in good used condition. No mouthpiece is included. This trumpet is a fantastic player with a really clear tone.  The valves work really great.  The trumpet is comfortable to hold and well balanced in the hand. The horn has a beautiful sound and is very responsive.  It plays great especially in the upper register!
