This fantastic saxophone is in mint condition, boasting over 98% of its original lacquer. Recently serviced, it exudes exceptional playability. Virtually dent-free, with only minor imperceptible dings, it radiates elegance. Crafted in 1931, its crisp bell engraving showcases the iconic “Depose Henri Selmer Paris” emblem. Accompanied by its pristine “H. Selmer Paris” neck, this saxophone includes a replacement case. An instrument of remarkable quality and allure it has that iconic Selmer sound that you just can’t beat.

Description

This Selmer Depose Super Sax Cigar Cutter alto saxophone is in mint condition with 98%+ of the original lacquer. It has just come from the shop where it was cleaned and adjusted so it plays wonderfully. There are basically no dents or dings through the entire horn.  There is one or two extremely minor dings in the bell that are better felt than seen that are smaller than a pencil point. The majority of the very small amount of lacquer wear is around the bottom bow guard. Please see the pictures for more details. The serial number is “14565” making this a 1931 vintage alto saxophone. The engraving on the bell is incredibly crisp and reads “Depose Henri Selmer Paris H. Selmer 4. Place Dancourt Paris No 14565 Sole Agents U.S & Can. Selmer Elkhart Indiana Reg. U.S. PAT. OFF Made in France SSS”.  This alto saxophone comes with the original “H. Selmer Paris” neck that is also in fantastic condition and has no evidence of a pull down. It comes in a good used replacement.  No mouthpiece is included.
