Selmer Depose EEB Rosewood Contra Alto Clarinet Ser#R155 Non-Playing Condition

Selmer Depose EEB Rosewood Contra Alto Clarinet Ser#R155 Non-Playing Condition

Additional Information:  This is a beautiful instrument that is in good condition. It does need some repair to be back in playing condition again.  Currently it is not playing and there is a left-hand pinky key that is broken off and included to be repaired.  It has its original adjustable neck and original Selmer mouthpiece, cap, ligature and case.  Overall, the instrument looks beautiful! There is evidence of a couple of cracks in the top of the bottom body joint.  It looks like one through the first part of the serial number has been glued and another has been pinned on the right side of the top of the body under the keywork.  The bottom body tenon does have a small chip in it but nothing major.  Once this horn is fixed and back in playing condition it should be a gorgeous sounding instrument! These Selmer’s are really beautiful horns – especially the rosewoods as they are becoming rarer and rarer to find.
