LeBlanc BBb Paperclip Metal Contra Bass Clarinet Serial #401
Additional Information: We have had such great interest in contra clarinets for this Holiday season we are posting this as it is sitting at one of our repair shops. It has been polished and any pads that were needed were replaced and regulated. It is ready to go with a nice dark rich sound to it. This is a really great contra bass clarinet without extended range. The instrument is in great shape! It is at our repair shop and plays great up and down the register. Please make sure all loose fillings are checked before you play this instrument 🙂 This is a large instrument so please keep in mind that shippers sometimes are not as careful handling the boxes as we would all like them to be – especially around the holidays. Please anticipate that it may need a tweak when it gets to you if the shipping handlers are not super careful with the box. We will have it packed well inside the case and around the case in the box. It will only be up for the 3 day auction, no longer so that it can be purchased and shipped before the holidays!
Instrument Condition: The overall physical condition of this used instrument is Very good.
Playing Condition: This instrument is currently in excellent playing condition.
The Key Plating: Approximately 90-95% of the original key plating remains with a good polish. (See Pic)
The Body: Metal
Player Wear: Light general wear (possible light surface scratches and/or minor dents and dings)
The Bell: Almost no dents and no evidence of bell edge dents.
The Bow: Has a very light dent in the bow guard and/or a small ding (See Pics)
Peg: Has a peg mount on the body and a peg is included.
Pad Condition: Combo of Old and Newer Used Pads.
The Neck: has approximately 90-95% of the finish remaining with Light wear (general player wear) (See Pics). This is a brushed silver finish.
The Mouthpiece: A good used mouthpiece and ligature are included – these will ship separately from the clarinet as the clarinet will ship from one of our repair shops and the mouthpiece/ligature will ship from our warehouse.
The Stand: If pictured, not included.
The Case: Good Used Condition (good used condition with some signs of physical wear) likely the original case.
