This King Zephyr tenor saxophone with Art Deco engraving is in mint condition with 99% of our custom King-colored vintage re-lacquer. The serial number is “229005” making this a vintage 1939 Zephyr Series I tenor saxophone.   The Art Deco engraving on this Zephyr reads “King Zephyr Model Made by the H.N. White Co. Cleveland-Ohio-”.  The neck is the sleeve style neck in excellent condition and the inner tenon in the neck does show signs of wear see the pictures.  The inner tenon is not perfectly in the round but does fit without issue into the tenor and does not affect the playability. The case is an older used condition case. No mouthpiece included.

Playing Condition: This instrument is currently in excellent playing condition.
The Finish: It has 99% of the custom vintage re-lacquered finish.
Player Wear: little to none as it is just back from an overhaul.
The Bell: No dents or evidence of bell edge damage.
The Bow: No dents in the bottom bow or bow guard.
Pad Condition: The pads are new.
Resonator Type: Plastic resonators.
The Neck: The neck has approximately 99% of the custom finish remaining.
The Mouthpiece: No mouthpiece, ligature, or accessories are included.
The Case: Older used condition (Still usable but significant signs of physical wear).
Engraving: King Zephyr Model Made by the H.N. White Co. Cleveland-Ohio- (on the bell)
