Description

This King Zephyr silver alto saxophone with Art Deco engraving has just come back from a complete overhaul and is in mint condition. There are all new pads, corks and felts and the polish looks beautiful. This horn has the triple neck ring and has all the original parts including its roller. There is no evidence of major damage or repairs. The neck is in excellent condition. It has approximately 95% of the orignial two tone matte and polished silver finish with a gold wash bell. The serial number reads “196028” making this a 1936-1937 vintage horn.  The Art Deco engraving looks fantastic! The bell engraving reads “King Zephyr Model Made by the H.N. White Co. Cleveland, O.” This saxophone comes in a new replacement wood shell case with no mouthpiece included. This saxophone has excellent action, a super warm rich sound and it is beautifully smooth. If you want a saxophone that looks fantastic and sounds even better this is the one for you.
