This King Tempo two tone cornet has 85-90% of the nickel silver finish remaining and 85-90% of the lacquered finish on the lacquered accents remaining. There is a small extremely minor ding in the crook of the lead pipe and a nearly invisible ding in the flair of the bell. Please see pictures for details. The serial number is “445866” making this a 1965-1970’s vintage horn. Engraved on the third valve tuning slide is “866” making it original to this horn as it is the last three digits of the serial number. The engraving reads “King Tempo King Musical Instruments Eastlake, Ohio”. It comes in the original case which does show some age wear but is still in good condition. No mouthpiece is included. This cornet plays great! It sounds lovely from top to bottom with that very classic King brilliance to the tone.
