Description
This King silver valve trombone is in very good condition with 90%+ of the silver and gold wash finish remaining. The horn does need to be buffed. There is an extra tuning slide included, as the main tuning slide is stuck we could not test the tuning slide to see what key it would play in. Based on its length we would estimate that it would lower it to A. The bell tightening screw is not included. Please see pictures for details. The serial number on this horn is “20978” making this a 1905 vintage horn. The engraving on the bell is “King Made by H.N. White Cleveland Ohio .U.S.Q.M.C”. Engraved on the second valve casing above the serial number is “”-King-” Made by H.N. White Clev’d. O.” It comes in the original case which is in older used condition and does not have a handle. It comes with its original H.N. White Co. 19 mouthpiece included in good used condition. All of the pieces of the horn have matching serial numbers. This trombone really sounds great! With the small bell the sound cuts through as you would expect a King horn to do.
