Description

This King Liberty Silver Trumpet is in good condition with around 45% of the original silver plating. It has just come back from being polished and adjusted so it plays great.  A few dents were also taken out of the bow. The serial number makes it a 1940-1941 vintage horn. The words “-King-” Made by H.N. White Co Clev’d. O.” is stamped above the serial number. The engraving is beautiful and clean; it reads: “King Liberty Model -Made by- H.N. White Co. Cleveland O. U.S.” surrounded by scrolling leaves. The lead pipe looks like it is a lacquered replacement King lead pipe and the second valve tuning slide has a patch.  The third valve bottom cap at one point was pushed in slightly causing a very small crack.  When test playing it we could not feel that there was any major leak happening.  The cap is solid and the microfracture does not seem to effect playability.  The first valve finger button pearl has a small chip.  This horn comes in the original case which is also in very good condition.  No mouthpiece is included. This trumpet plays with that classic King sound.  It has great presence and projects beautifully.
