Description
This King 3B Concert Silversonic two tone trombone is in excellent condition and has very light general player wear. It has 95%+ of the clear lacquer finish on the sterling silver bell remaining with 90%+ of the lacquer finish and 98%+ of the gold wash bell finish remaining. There is a very minor little bell wave and the clear finish that they put over the serling silver bell and gold wash bell has started to flake and peel slightly. There are two minor dents on the top side of the slide tip crook. Please see pictures for details. The serial number is “471191” making this a vintage 1970-1975 trombone. The engraving on the bell reads “Sterling Bell S King 3-B Concert Sonic King Musical Instruments USA”. “King” is on the counterweight. The tuning slide is loose. It comes in a good used condition King case showing some wear to the edges. No mouthpiece is included. This trombone is a fantastic player! It has a beautiful rich crystal clear tone and it really sings in its upper register. The slide is super smooth and the horn feels well balanced in your hand. Overall just a pleasure to play!

The Case: Good used condition King case (General wear with some edge wear and visible surface scratches). It is showing some signs of wear around the edging.
