Description
This King 3 valve F bell front alto horn is in very good condition with 90-95% of the lacquered finish remaining. The majority of the wear is along the outside of the body and at the top of the body where you grip the horn. There are a couple of very minor dings in the bottom bow and in the back of the body. The bell has a couple of very minor little dings towards the bottom of the bell near the tenon. The second valve finger button is a King finger button but it is a replacement. Please see pictures. The serial number is “411794” making this a vintage 1965-1970’s horn. The engraving on the bell reads “King The H.N. White Co. Cleveland Ohio”. This model alto horn has a detachable bell. A good used vintage King 9 mouthpiece is included. It comes with its Eb tuning slide extenders so you can play in Eb as well as F. It comes in the original case in good used condition. The handle is tied on at one end as the mount is missing. The case has a very slight vintage instrument smell to it. This horn is super easy to play. It plays great with a good response and has a nice even tone from top to bottom.
