This vintage King 2B Liberty trombone is in excellent condition! It has just come back from a complete overhaul. The lacquer is a custom two tone finish with silver accents which replicates the original finish. There is some almost impossible to see dent removal in the tuning slide and a nearly impossible to see dent on the tuning slide. The bell dent is really something that you can see if the light hits it just right as it was taken out so well. Please see pictures for details. We very lightly hand buffed the bell so the engraving is still very sharp and reads “2-B King Liberty Made By The H.N. White Co. Cleveland, Ohio”. Above the serial number on the hand slide brace it reads “PAT.2533388”. The serial number is “309700” making it a vintage 1950-1955 horn. The slide hand brace serial number, the bell serial number, the main tuning slide, and the outer slide have matching serial numbers. It also comes with the original King vintage counterweight. The trombone comes with the original case in older used vintage King case. This is an excellent playing trombone! It has a super clear resonate sound and it plays beautifully from top to bottom. This horn has great flexibility particularly in the upper register and the slide is extremely smooth. As is typical with King trombones the horn feels like it belongs in your hands.
