Description
This Jupiter JHR-852 two tone double french horn is in excellent condition with 98%+ of its lacquered finish remaining. There is some scratching to the lacquer on the inside of the bell. The bell edge has a little bit of a wave to it and into the throat of the bell you can feel that it is slightly out of round. There is a spot of dent removal moving from the bell up into the outside bow. You can feel where the dent removal has been slightly over corrected. The first valve paddle has a slight wiggle to it. Please see pictures for more details. The serial number on the french horn is “B01176”. The bell engraving reads “Jupiter”. The engraving on the mouthpiece receiver reads “JHR-852 Taiwan”. This french horn comes in a good used condition Jupiter case. No mouthpiece is included. The valves are working well. The slides are super easy to pull. This is a great playing double french horn! The horn plays great up and down with a warm round sound.
