Description
This Jupiter Carnegie XL Series CE-40 3 valve euphonium is in really great shape with 95%+ of the lacquered finish remaining. This is a beautiful horn, and the lead pipe has a rose tint to the finish. It has light player wear across the horn. There has been some bell dent removal that you can see in the flair of the bell out to the ring. Please see pictures for details. The serial number is “J04503”. The engraving on the bell reads “Jupiter Carnegie XL Series” and the engraving on the mouthpiece receiver reads “CE-40 Taiwan”. The valves are all working smoothly and the slides are all easily pulled. No mouthpiece is included. It comes in a good used condition Jupiter case. The instrument plays great up and down with a nice open sound to it. It is a nice easy player!

Outside Body Bow Condition: Has a light dent in the outside bow with a small ding.
The Bell: Minor dents and dings and minor bell edge dents.
Bell Dent Removal/Repair: Medium evidence.
The Bottom Bow: Has a light dent in the bow guard with a small ding.
The Mouthpiece: No Mouthpiece is included, or other accessories but it will need a standard shank mouthpiece.
Metal Condition: No broken or patched metal.
The Stand: If pictured, not included.
The Case: Good used condition original case (General wear with some edge wear and visible surface scratches).
Engraving: Jupiter Carnegie XL Series (on the bell) CE-40 Taiwan (on the mouthpiece receiver).
