Description
This Holton H378 double french horn is in excellent condition with 98%+ of its lacquered finish remaining. There is some light evidence of dent removal in the bow just under the hand brace. There are a few very minor dings in the bell flair as you move towards the bell edge. In the bell throat along the bottom of the instrument on the back side you can see where there had been something engraved on the horn that was removed as best as it could be. Please see pictures for more details. The serial number on the french horn is “709580”. The engraving on the mouthpiece receiver reads “Holton H378”. This french horn comes in a good used condition Holton case. No mouthpiece is included. This double french horn plays wonderfully up and down on both sides. The valves are working great and have really nice response! The tuning slides are all loose. This is a beautiful horn to play and it sounds great with a nice rich full tone!
