Description
This Gretsch Model 4157, 5 x 14 midnight blue pearl wood snare drum is in great condition. The midnight blue pearl laminate has very light general wear. At the edge of the laminate wrap it is slightly lifting from its adhesive at the seam. The interior of the drum has a silver wash finish. It has a Round 1920’s-1960’s badge that is in excellent condition. The muffler functions well with a good felt. No stand is included. It comes in a good used plastic Olive and Blue Ludwig case.

Wood Shell Condition: Very light general wear. It has a silver wash interior. The paper label on the interior of the shell reads “That Great Gretsch Sound Gretsch Guaranteed for Life Drum Shell Model 4157 Serial 74259”.
Snare Throw: Works well.
Snare Wires: Original Gretsch power snares with minor damage.
Muffler: Functions well with good felt.
Heads: The batter head is new. The snare side head looks to be an original Gretsch Permatone head in good used condition.
Lugs: 8 Streamline lugs. We do not guarantee that all lug screws are original.
Hoop Condition: Gretsch cast hoops with very light general wear.
Player Wear: Very light general wear (minor if any surface imperfections).
Case: Good used plastic Olive and Blue Ludwig case.
The Stand: No stand is included.
