Description
This Gemeinhardt 22SP flute is in excellent condition with 97%+ of the silver plating remaining. It has typical player wear throughout the flute. There is a slight push in on the facing edge of the lip plate. This does not impact play-ability of the flute. There is a nearly invisible ding in the head joint that is easier to feel than to see and is located between the lip plate and the crown. Please see pictures for details. The serial number on the flute is “I38818”. The engraving on the body joint reads “Gemeinhardt KGG Elkhart, In. USA 22SP.” Engraved on the head joint is “Gemeinhardt KGG Elkhart, In. U.S.A.” with “J” on the back of the head joint. This flute has closed tone holes and off-set G. It comes in a good used condition replacement case. This is a great playing student flute. It plays very well with a nice open sound.
