Description
This Conn 8H Artist Symphony Tri Tone trombone is in excellent condition and has very light general player wear. It has 99%+ of the lacquered finish remaining with 99%+ of the silver accent finish and 99%+ of the copper finish remaining. This is just back from the shop where it was overhauled! There are a few imperfections in the finish around the seam of the bell both inside the bell and on the outside. Please see pictures for details. The serial number is “GA670010” making this a vintage 1976 trombone. The engraving on the bell reads “Conn Made in USA” with “Conn” on the counterweight. “8H” is engraved in front of the serial number on the slide. It comes in a good used condition Conn case with some wear to the outside of the case. No mouthpiece is included. This trombone plays with a beautiful rich warm sound! It has a full lower register that transfers very nicely up into the higher register. The slide is nice and smooth and there is a nice resonance to the sound of the horn. It is easy to see why these are compared to their 88H counterpart as a symphonic horn!

The Bell: No dents or evidence of bell edge damage.

The Mouthpiece: No Mouthpiece is included, or other accessories.
The Case: Good used condition (General wear with some edge wear and visible surface scratches). There is some wear to the outside of the case which has some tape around the edges.
Engraving: Conn Made in USA (on the bell) Conn (on the counterweight) 8H (before the serial number on the slide).
