Description
This C.G. Conn 60H Artist Symphony tri tone single rotor bass trombone is in very good condition and has light general player wear. This trombone has 40-45% of its silver finish, 50-55% of its lacquered finish and 55-60% of the red brass/rose brass finish. There are multiple visible points of re-solder in the wrap and some light lacquer burning from re-solders visible in the bell throat, inside the wrap, and the tuning that leaves the top of the rotor. There is evidence of dent removal repair in the slide tip crook and the crook guard. Please see pictures for details. The serial number is “P23858” making this a vintage 1971 trombone. The engraving on the bell reads “Conn Elkhart Ind. U.S.A.”. “60H” is engraved on the slide receiver. The trigger is in good working condition and all of the tuning slides are loose. It comes in a brand new Pro Tec case. No mouthpiece is included. This bass trombone is a blast to play! It plays fantastically – specifically in its lower range. The pedal tones have immense power behind them and it plays very well in tune. The slide is smooth and the power that you get from the lower register is able to be transferred into the upper range as well! This is a great playing vintage bass trombone.
