Description

This C.G. Conn 10M tenor saxophone with Naked Lady engraving is in very good condition with 90%+ of the original lacquer finish remaining. The bell lip shows signs of bell lip pull down removal along the top of the bell. There are some very minor dings on the bottom bow.  Please see pictures for details.  The serial number on the horn is “M265775” making this a vintage 1935 tenor saxophone. The engraving on the bell reads “Made-By C.G. Conn LTD. Elkhart-Ind. U.S.A.” with the Naked Lady bust engraving. “PATD. DEC. 8, 1914. 1119954 T M265775 L” is engraved on the back of the horn by the serial number. This denotes that the horn is in low pitch. Until 1940, Conn made horns both high and low pitched. The condition of the neck is very good and it does show evidence of very light pull down and some dent removal. Please see pictures for details. It comes in a good used SKB replacement case. There is no mouthpiece included. It looks and plays beautifully.
