Description
This C.G. Conn 2B Gold Plated trumpet is in absolutely mint condition. The gold plating on this instrument is practically pristine. It’s a little difficult to see on the pictures, but the trumpet’s gold plating is two tone with a brushed finished on the valve casings and a polished finish on the bell. There are some very light player wear touch spots on the valve casing for the first and third valves where your thumb and finger hold the trumpet. There is also some very light player wear touch spots on the underside of the lead pipe by the first valve where your thumb would touch and on the underside of the bell throat by the third valve where your finger would rest. The one spot were you can see where the gold plating has been worn is on the second valve tuning slide and knobs. The artistry on this trumpet is just beautiful. The engraving on the horn is crisp and clear. It reads “Made by G.C. Conn Ltd Elkhart Ind. U.S.A.” surrounded by entwining flowers and leaves that are all around the flare of the bell and up the throat all the way to behind the valves. Everything on this trumpet is original down to all the adjustment screw caps. It comes with the original case in very good condition. This comes with the original Conn 4 gold plated mouthpiece. It has a warm, clean Conn sound with excellent intonation.
