Description
This C.G. Conn 8D silver double french horn is in excellent condition with 85-90% of its silver finish remaining. The majority of the wear to the finish is in the bell bow and in the side of the bell throat. There are some very light dents/dings in the body and the pinky hook has been slightly pushed into the body. There is evidence of dent removal in the bell bow and in the bell. The bell edge has a very fine wave in it that is very difficult to see. Please see pictures for more details. The serial number on the french horn is “R34892” making this a vintage 1972 horn. The engraving on the bell reads “C.G. Conn LTD. USA”. This french horn comes in a good like new condition MTS case. No mouthpiece is included. This double french horn plays beautifully up and down its registers and has a nice sound that fills up the room.
