Description
This C.G. Conn 8D silver double french horn is in excellent condition with 85-90% of its silver finish remaining. There are very few dents or dings in this french horn. Any dents or dings you see are very minor. There is some light evidence of dent removal in the bow and in the bell. There is one dent at the bell to body brace on the facing side of the horn. Please see pictures for more details. The serial number on the french horn is “E69208” making this a vintage 1965 horn. The engraving on the bell reads “C.G. Conn LTD. Elkhart-Ind. -U.S.A.-” with “8D” on the mouthpiece receiver. This french horn comes in a good used condition case. No mouthpiece is included. This is a great playing double french horn. It has lovely overtones and plays very well in tune.
