Description
This C.G. Conn 72H Artist Symphony silver single rotor bass trombone is in excellent condition and has very light general player wear. The silver finish has 95%+ remaining and the bell has 98%+ of the gold was bell finish remaining. There are almost no dents or dings in the trombone and the slide is smooth all the way down with no wear on the inner slides. There is evidence of dent removal throughout the main tuning slide and slide tip crook. Please see pictures for details. The serial number is “964975” making this a vintage 1962s trombone. The engraving on the bell reads “C.G. Conn LTD. Elkhart-Ind. -U.S.A.-”. “72H” is engraved in on the slide receiver and on the outer slide. The trigger is in good working condition and all of the tuning slides are loose. It comes in a new Pro Tec case. If you would prefer the original older condition case, please contact us as it may be available. The original Remington mouthpiece is included in good used condition. This horn has that classic large open sound that you expect from a Conn! The slide is nice and smooth. It plays great from top to bottom with great resonance to its sound.
