Description

This C.G. Conn 6H Victor trombone is in very good condition and has light general player wear. It has 75-80% of the original lacquer finish remaining.  There is medium speckle wear across the horn.  It has just come back from the shop where it was completely gone through and you can feel where a few small dents were taken out of the bow.  There is some light dent removal in the top slide at the bell edge in both the inner and outter slides but the work that was done was very good and the slide works great. There is a small amount of resistance where the dent was removed in the slide, but it does still work well. The slide does have the smallest amount of wear showing the the bottom stalks of the inner slide. This is extremely minor. Please see pictures for details. The serial number is “GD770048” making this a vintage 1970-1980’s trombone. The engraving on the bell is nice and clear on the side of the bell and reads “C.G. Conn LTD Victor USA”. “6H” is engraved in front of the serial number and “Conn” across both sides of the vintage counterweight.   It comes in the original Conn case which is starting to wear a little and is still in good used condition. No mouthpiece is included. This trombone has that classic Conn sound with great overtones.  It plays easily up and down its registers with good intonation.  It is well balanced in the hand.
