This C.G. Conn 3 valve F bell front silver alto horn is in very good condition with 95%+ of the silver finish and 90-95% of the gold wash bell finish remaining. This is a satin finish with polished accents and tuning slides. There are some very minor dents and dings throughout the body of the horn and a couple of dents in the bottom bow guard. The bell has some minor denting and the edge of the bell has a wave to it. Please see pictures. The serial number is “520646” making this a vintage 1955 horn. The engraving on the bell reads “Made by C.G. Conn LTD Elkhart-Ind. U.S.A.”. A good used Conn 2 mouthpiece is included. It comes with its Eb tuning slide extenders so you can play in Eb as well as F. It comes in the original case which is in older used condition. This alto horn plays very well up and down the register with a nice clear tone. You can tell right from the first note that this is a Conn as it plays with that classic Conn sound that is nice and big and projects well!
