Description
This C.G. Conn 12H Elkhart tri tone trombone is in excellent condition and has very light general player wear. It has 98%+ of the lacquered finish remaining with 98%+ of the silver accent finish and 98%+ of the copper finish remaining. There is the slightest twist in the bell section and the slightest wave in the bell edge. There is bell dent removal in the flair of the bell, at the tubing that rests against the players neck and through the entire tuning slide bow. Please see pictures for details. The serial number is “346736” making this a vintage 1941 trombone. The engraving on the bell reads “C.G. Conn LTD. U.S.A. Elkhart – Ind.”. “12H” is engraved on the slide receiver and “Conn Choice of the Artists” on the counterweight. The tuning slide is loose. It comes in a good used condition case. No mouthpiece is included. This trombone has a super beautiful sound to it! It really packs a punch – particularly in the upper range with its small 7″ bell. It plays very well in tune with a super smooth slide. The horn has nice flexibility and a lovely response in all dynamics. It is really a pleasure to play!
