Description

This C.G. Conn 10M tenor saxophone with Naked Lady engraving is in very good condition with 80-85% of the original lacquer finish remaining. The saxophone has pretty even lacquer wear throughout the body.  The post for the top left-hand palm key is just barely pushed in. Please see the pictures for details. This saxophone has cut tone holes, mother-of-pearl rollers, and wire key guards. The serial number on the horn is “334975” making this a vintage 1949 10M tenor saxophone. The engraving on the bell reads “Made-By C.G. Conn LTD. Elkhart-Ind. U.S.A.” with the Naked Lady bust engraving. “10M PAT APP’D. FOR B 334975 L” is engraved on the back of the horn by the serial number. This denotes that the horn is in low pitch. Until 1940, Conn made horns both high and low-pitched. The neck has almost no finish remaining but it is in good used condition.  The neck has evidence of dent removal and the bottom brace saddle and the octave key have all had some re-soldering. Please see the pictures for details. This saxophone comes in a good used condition SKP replacement case. There is no mouthpiece included. There is a plastic neck plug in good used condition included and not pictured. It looks and plays beautifully.
