This C.G. Conn 10M Tenor Saxophone 1959 Serial #796922 is in very good condition with 90-95% for the re-lacquer and the silver key plating is 85-90% original with some light finish wear. The overall condition of the horn is very good with no evidence of any damage or repairs. The engraving reads “C.G. Conn Ltd. USA” with Lady Face which is still in excellent condition and is very visible even though it has been re-lacquered. This horn plays and looks great. The pads are overhauled with a plastic resonator. The corks and felts were completely replaced during the overhaul. The neck is original and the cork has been replace during the overhaul. The condition of the neck is very good to excellent with no evidence of damage or repair. It comes in a replacement case with medium edge wear and medium overall wear. There is no mouthpiece included. This looks to have been re-lacquered some time ago but they did a very good job with only a light buff to the body to keep the engraving looking sharp. It looks and plays beautifully.
