This Buffet Crampon Super Dynaction Tenor Saxophone 1970’s Serial #20596 is in very good condition. This French Saxophone was made in Buffet’s Golden Era (the mid-60’s– mid-70’s.) There are a few small player wear dents on the leg side of the bell and the upper bow tube. These are very minor but see the pictures. The body tube is straight, and there is no evidence of any significant damage or repairs. The overall lacquer is very good, and it faces up nicely. There is some lacquer wear to the edge bead of the bell lip and some standard acid wear on the Eb tone hole. Otherwise there is just standard player type wear and nothing out of the norm. The original neck has no evidence of pull down or repair but the saddle has been re-soldered. The horn has a combination of older and newer pads but, currently it is in very good playing condition. The case is original, it has some edge wear but is in good used condition. All key guards and rollers are original. There is one key guard pearl that is missing. No mouthpiece comes with this horn. The overall action on this horn is very quick and the tone on this vintage Buffet many feel rival the late model Mark VI.
