Description
This Buffet Crampon Super Dynaction tenor saxophone is in very good condition with 85-90% of the original lacquer. This French saxophone was made in Buffet’s Golden Era (the mid-60’s– mid-70’s.) There are some minor dings in the bottom bow and bow guard. The bell lip has evidence of a pull-down removal. There is one key guard missing above the bottom thumb rest. Please see the pictures for details. The serial number on the saxophone is “19979” making this a vintage 1972 saxophone. The engraving on the bell reads “Buffet Crampon Paris France” with scrolling engraved all around the bell and down into the bell. “Super Dynaction” is engraved on the back of the body below the neck strap ring. This tenor saxophone has the classic “BC” black bell to body brace. All key guards and rollers are original. The original neck has no evidence of pull down and is in very good condition. This comes with a replacement SKB case. No mouthpiece is included. A good used plastic neck plug is included and not pictured. The overall action on this horn is very quick and many feel the tone on this vintage Buffet rivals the late model Mark VI’s.

The Case: Good used condition (General wear with some edge wear and visible surface scratches).
