1967-1968 Vintage saxophone with high F and low F# keys.

Description

This Buffet Crampon Super Dynaction alto saxophone is in good used condition with around 70-75% of the original lacquer and the signature decorative pearl buttons on the key guards. The “Super Dynaction” is one of Buffet’s most famous and top professional saxophones. This is also of the few saxophones that some people believe can compete with a Selmer Mark VI. This particular Buffet Super Dynaction saxophone has just come from the shop where it was cleaned and adjusted so it plays great. The pads are a mix of old and new, but all are in good condition. This saxophone features the articulated low F# key along with the high F key, and Buffet’s signature “BC” bell brace. There is some light player wear to the touch spots and the keys along with lacquer crazing across the entire horn. There are no dents or evidence of any major repairs. Please see the photos for more details. The serial number is 13958 making this a 1967-1968 vintage alto saxophone. Along the back of the body is engraved “Super Dynaction”. The engraving on the bell is gorgeous and runs down the entirety of the bell and onto the front of the bow with the words “Buffet Crampon Paris France” displayed prominently.  This alto saxophone has the original neck with no evidence of pull down and lacquer crazing.  It also comes in the original “Buffet Crampon” case in very good used condition. A mouthpiece is not included with this instrument. This alto saxophone really rips with a fantastic sound and clean intonation!
