Description
This Besson Meha Paris-France Grands Prix Silver Trumpet has been completely overhauled and re-silver plated. This trumpet has the third valve tuning slide adjustment rod and one tiny dent on the bow of both the second valve and first valve tuning slides. There is a super small dent just above the engraving on the bell and some very light pebbling along the right hand side of the engraving going up the bell from likely bell dent removal. Please see photos for details. Below the serial number is an engraving that reads: “F. Besson Kanstul”. The engraving on the bell is crisp and reads “FB” in script followed by “systeme prototype Paris-France Meha F. Besson 66 Hautes Recompense 6 Grands Prix Hors Concours Membre Du Jury”. The horn comes in the original F. Besson case in good condition. No mouthpiece is included. This trumpet plays beautifully! The valves are as smooth as butter with great action. It has a rich full sound and is well balanced in your hand. All in all it is a beautiful horn to look at as well as to play.
